I received my Undergraduate & Master’s degree in Exercise Sport Science at the University of Memphis. I am certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). I’m certified through the American College and Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a clinical exercise specialist (CES). I am certified through Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) as a level 3 golf fitness pro and level 2 golf biomechanist.
I have worked with people of all ages, 12 – 92yrs, from all walks of life. Some have had debilitating issues and others have simply wanted to lose weight/body fat. I’ve worked with professional golfers, collegiate golfers, high school golfers, competitive golfers and weekend warriors. I’ve trained high school wrestlers, basketball, baseball, football and rugby players. I’ve trained military personnel, those initially entering and those looking to specialize in a particular area. Every single person I’ve worked with had a goal and their goal became my goal. I took every one of them to heart. There are no cookie cutter programs from me. Every exercise program comes from a thorough assessment. What does this mean for my clients? It means that yes, they will reach their goal, but it also means that they will begin to move more efficiently. The assessment identifies deficiencies in joints and allows me to more effectively help the client in ways they didn’t even know.
